HOW DO YOU USE NUUD?
If you have been using traditional deodorants or antiperspirants for years, your body has become accustomed to how they work and how to apply them. Nuud works differently. And you may need some time to get used to it. With our tips & tricks below, you will quickly understand how Nuud is not just a carefree deodorant but also harmless and super efficient.
Tip 1: Not too much Nuud
The tube is remarkably small ... However, it lasts for an average of 6 to 7 weeks. This is because Nuud is super concentrated. You just need a little every time! Wash your armpits with soap, dry them well and massage in a pea size of Nuud in each armpit. So remember, do not apply too much! We mean it when we say it; Nuud is super concentrated and very easy to apply.
Tip 2: Discover your "application frequency".
Application frequency, yes, for lack of a better word. Although you only apply a little Nuud at a time, Nuud continues to be effective for several days. On average, people apply Nuud every three days. But everyone has their own frequency, which requires little effort. For example, you can start applying every other day and then extend it to how long it works for you!
Tip 3: Fresh clothes.
Nuud neutralizes the bacteria that are responsible for your sweat odor. Nuud doesn`t disguise the smell, it prevents it. In addition to this, Nuud has no odor, so you have to make sure that the clothes you wear are free of "old scents" and bacteria. The armpit areas on t-shirts, shirts and jumpers must be washed thoroughly first (preferably with vinegar or alcohol, and ending with a steaming iron to kill all bacteria) before you can start your fresh and odorless start!
Tip 4: Dare to detox
Sweating is important for your body. Therefore, Nuud does not contain salts that block your sweat glands. Common deodorants containing aluminum salts or sodium hydrogen carbonate often cause the body's sweat control to be disturbed and your body stores excess toxins. Nuud fixes this for you. Natural and odorless! Occasionally it happens that it initially intensifies your sweating, in the form of sweat and odor, but only for a while. This "detox" effect ends when you have used Nuud for a period of time. If you are a little unsure, start using Nuud on the weekend so you can test it on your own safe space and find out how Nuud works for you.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I APPLY NUUD?
Each body is different. For some people Nuud works for 48 hours, for others it is enough to apply it once a week. Experience has taught us that for most people it is enough 2-3 times a week. And the longer you use Nuud, the fewer times you need to apply it. The best way to detect your best application frequency is to apply every other day at the beginning. If you notice that this is not enough, switch to apply every 24 hours. If you notice that it is enough, you can switch to applying every three days and so on.
IS NUUD MORE EFFICIENT WITH TIME?
Yes. The longer you use Nuud, the less bacteria comes back, the fewer times you need to apply Nuud. So start using Nuud every other day and check how long it works for you by adding an extra day between new applications. This way you will find the right balance for yourself. It would, of course, be a waste to apply Nuud every three days if Nuud lasts a whole week for you.
NUUD & SHOWER:
We often get questions about Nuud's efficiency in connection with showering. First and foremost, it is important to understand exactly how Nuud works. Nuud has micro silver as one of its active ingredients and an oil-based cream to keep this micro silver in place. It can be compared to waterproof sunscreen: it does not dissolve in water and therefore it is very good to shower, train or do what you want to do, without Nuud's efficiency decreasing.
So even though you shower, Nuud continues to work, you can shower as often as you like! But if you scrub or exfoliate your skin, you can remove the outer layer of your skin and with it, Nuud. In this case, re-apply Nuud!
Also, thanks to how Nuud works, you do not need to wash your forearms with soap anymore. In fact, Nuud's effectiveness goes on if you do not wash your armpits with (too much) soap, but of course it depends on your personal preferences.
